 Nice authentic look & feel October 8, 2008
I was a little worried that this doorknob would be a cheap replacement piece with rough edges, but it feels very durable and authentic - like years of use have worn it smooth. Couldn't ask for more than that, especially at the price.

I live in an older house with lots of original hardware. I had a few doors where the old knobs had stripped out and were getting to the point where someone might get stuck inside because the knob would spin around on the shaft. I had checked the prices of other replacements and all were twice the cost or more. These worked perfectly and were at a great price. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I would have liked to have the option of ordering in different finishes. Most of my doors have an antique brass finish.
